Event Details:

Meet us at Col. R.S. McLaughlin Armoury, 53 Simcoe St. N. at 1:00 p.m. as we travel back into the lives of the young men and women of Oshawa who paid the ultimate price for our future, so long ago.

Home Fires Burning, together with Jane's Walk Durham Region, invites you to attend a free walking tour to honour Oshawa's WWI fallen. We will be walking by six different homes where people lived prior to WWI. Sadly, they never made it home.

On Sunday, May 6, 2018, join Home Fires Burning to commemorate Oshawa's fallen, 100 years after the end of WWI.

Everyone on the walk is encouraged to share their own personal family WWI stories.
