Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 10th, 2024 as the 15th Annual Orono Antique Street Festival will be held on Main Street, Orono. This is a free admission event and is held between 10am to 4pm, rain or shine.

On August 10th, the Main Street in downtown Orono will be closed to traffic between 10am and 4pm to showcase the 15th Annual Orono Antique Street Festival. Residents and visitors alike will be treated to a great selection of antiques, collectables, vintage finds, furniture, toys, books, jewellery, art, vintage vinyl and so much more in this one day event.

Once again, Orono Antique Market representatives, Allister Macrae and Rebecca Goddard have taken on the responsibility of organizing this year’s show. Last year’s show was a huge success and the event reached record attendance.  Ms. Goddard was pleased to inform us that this year’s Antique Street Festival has attracted 25 plus independent new and returning Antique Dealers, who will be displaying their antiques and collectables on the street that day. She also stated that, in addition, the local antique shops of Orono, which include the Orono Antique Market and Main Thru Church Antique Mall, will all be open for business with great in-store specials to celebrate this event. These two independent antique shops collectively represent approximately 11,000 sq ft of antique and vintage items and are host to 25-30 antique dealers year-round.

Orono has become quite the destination for Antique and Vintage shoppers.

Once festival goers have worked up an appetite they can grab a bite to eat at one of Orono’s local restaurants or outdoor food venues and enjoy music from our live entertainment.

Orono is located just off Hwy115, 7 minutes north of the 401 or 3 minutes south of the 407.
