Penny Stevens JAN 10 - FEB 1 Our busy days are punctuated by thousands of ‘subdued” moments, knowing glances, resting postures, studied thought, looking in and out of windows, walking somewhere, thinking something, thinking nothing. In a world of much coming and going the subdued, in between moments deserve space. The juxtaposition of bold strokes and drippy paint with some clean lines and smooth blocks of colour helps to amplify the moment. Still Life moments are a salve to our busy days.
