An exhibition of Paintings and Photography by Emma Inkpen + Jessica Tamlin
The Space Between Us brings together two long-time friends whose lives have remained connected for over twenty years. Though a small distance separates where we live, time spent in nature remains a shared place of return — a landscape that offers quiet, perspective, and room to breathe.
Through painting and photography, this exhibition explores the spaces that hold us: a deep love of the land we move through, and what is carried between us.
Both artists will be artists in residence, painting on site, for the 4 days of the show. Show reception Friday May 15, 6-9pm.
Show and Mercantile hours for the long weekend: Friday 11-6 (Reception 6-9pm) Saturday & Sunday 10-5 Monday (Victoria Day) 11-3 (TBD)
Artwork, greeting cards, ACEO cards, mini art, and other artwork by Emma and Jessica will be for sale, along with the rest of the mercantile's artisan's goods and artwork.
