Collected leaf and yard waste is processed into nutrient-rich compost. In the spring, residents are invited to our complimentary compost giveaways. Quantities are first-come, first served and limited to four blue boxes of compost per vehicle.
Green bins, blue boxes, blue box lids and backyard composters will also be available for purchase (VISA, Mastercard, debit or e-transfer only), and broken bins can be exchanged for free.
What should I bring?

We want to invite you all to our annual Spring Plant Sale, being held on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 from 8:30am to 1:00pm or until supplies last. All proceeds will go to Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre.
There will be an array of plants including, Bulbs, shade plants, Full Sun, Half Sun, Hostas, Lillies, we’ll have them all, and we want you to be there to see it!

Everyone is Welcome to join us and play with Vibrant Colors. 5 shades of natural colors will be available. *Natural Colors are plant based made from corn startch and food colors.
Kids 10 and under are FREE. Spend quality time with the Durham family at outdoor event and create great memories.
