We are taking the Fun Walk OUTDOORS this year and cannot wait to see everyone in-person! This will truly be a fantastic kick-off to Summer 2022!
How It Works:
- Register for either the 1K or 5K loop
- Create your personal pledge page and ask your family and friends to support you by donating. Use the pledge sheet provided to collect any offline donations.
- You can get others to join you and even put together a Team!
- Show up at the All Saints C.S.S. track on May 29th to check-in and turn in any offline donations received.
- Walk and enjoy the fun and music of the summertime!
- Continue to feel the warmth of the day as you go home, knowing you helped provide support for families in Durham Region dealing with a diagnosis of cancer.

- Top Adult Fundraiser
- Top Teen Fundraiser (13 yrs—18 yrs)
- Top Child Fundraiser (12 yrs and under)

Member artists of the OAA will open their studios and yards to the public. Artists will be working on a piece of art and artwork will be for sale. To print list of studios and map go to OshawaArtAssociation.com or to the OAA Facebook page.

Join the Durham Chamber Orchestra's live concert celebrating this joyous milestone. Enjoy waving a flag to beautiful, vibrant British themed music selected for this occasion, including, Rule Britannia, Pomp and Circumstance, Westminster Waltz, Nimrod and many more. Guest Artists, Pianist: Carol Salamone, Vocalist: Kristine Dandavino, Bag Piper: Dave McGonigal. Distanced seating - Proof of Covid Vac and Masks required.

Join artist Sarah Shaw for an afternoon of creativity and fun against the beautiful backdrop of Scugog Shores Museum Village. Guests will follow step by step instruction to create their own masterpiece painting of Spring Bloom to take home. This workshop includes all painting supplies, professional instruction, and a tour of the village!
Tickets are $50+hst and must be purchased in advance. Purchase tickets online here, by phone at 905-260-2017, or by emailing museum@scugog.ca.
This event will be indoors at the Scugog Shores Museum Village.

Established in 2017, National AccessAbility Week is an opportunity to celebrate Canadians with disabilities and raise awareness of the need for accessibility and inclusion for all in our communities and workplaces. National AccessAbility Week is observed annually starting the last Sunday of every May.

Conference Details
Abilities Centre and the Region of Durham are excited to invite residents and business owners to explore how accessibility and inclusion can elevate communities and businesses on May 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Durham Accessibility Conference: Building Back Better After the Pandemic: Accessibility and Inclusion virtual conference will include keynote speaker Maayan Ziv, Founder of AccessNow, in addition to an engaging panel discussion comprised of accessibility champions and community members:
- Lorin MacDonald, Founder and CEO HearVue
- Pina D’Intino, Aequum Global Access
- Terry Batley, VP Autism Home Base
This free conference will focus on breaking down barriers in Durham Region and providing equitable access to services; working towards creating a more accessible and inclusive Region for all. CART Services and ASL will be available during this event.
