City of Oshawa is inviting community members to participate in a community ride starting at Lakeview Park (Parking Lot G at 1557 Kluane Ave.) where cyclists will travel along the Joseph Kolodzie Creek Trail north to City Hall, take a 10-minute water break, and ride back to Lakeview Park. The ride will be approximately one hour.
A Bike Month booth will be set up at the meeting point at Lakeview Park and participants will be provided with giveaways after the bike ride.

What you will Learn:
We've all been there and want to spare you from learning the hard way! Our professional, knowledgeable, and inspiring instructors break down the skills and techniques below into simple and actionable steps that are fun to learn and easy to remember.
Utilizing drills and man-made features and stunts, we’ll practice them first in a safe and controlled environment before taking our newly learned skills to the trails! By the end of the Class, you will have a newfound confidence on your bike and lots to practice!

In the galleries all day long…
Celebrating the unique perspectives and ingenuity of children, Contemporary Kids is an exhibition featuring a collection of collaborative artwork made by artists and kids and interactive installations that allow parents and children to explore and play together. Some of the artists will be onsite to answer your questions and play along! Don’t forget to check out the whimsical exhibition The Big Hat, featuring new sculpture and video work by local artist Tony Romano. This storytelling installation is a feast for the senses and a perfect backdrop for inspiring creativity and family fun.

In partnership with the four Foundations of Lakeridge Health and the Regional Municipality of Durham, hundreds of riders, volunteers and community supporters will raise much needed funds for the Lakeridge Health hospitals.
Bike for Health is a collaboration between Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation, Bowmanville Hospital Foundation, Lakeridge Health Foundation and Port Perry Hospital Foundation.

Our Mommy and Me Tea & Yoga event includes a gentle yoga session led by certified Yogi Jill Watson followed by a mini Afternoon Tea for both Mommy and little.

The Parade will begin at 1 p.m. and will travel along Harwood Ave. S starting at Harwood Ave. and Bayly St. continuing north bound until Harwood Ave. and Achilles Rd. After the Parade join us for the Festivities in the Park taking place at Arbour Park (65 Harwood Ave) for lots of activities, entertainment and fun for everyone!
