It is an unprecedented opportunity to see and hear the stories of how species of these incredible fish are found from those who have undertaken adventures to find them, gain information on how best to care for these visually stunning fish, and a chance to buy species that have never been available in Canda or North America as well others that are considered incredibly rare and desirable in the aquarium hobby.
At this event there will be: 7 Speakers from 5 countries spanning 3 continents and over 30 species of Rainbow, Blue-eyes and other native Australian species available at auction

For 45 years, we have been helping residents throughout Durham Region live safely and independently wherever they call home.Help us support the health and wellbeing of clients across Durham Region by getting active and working toward reaching your personal fundraising and fitness goals!
There will be prizes for the top fundraisers and great fundraising incentives. All participants will receive a FREE t-shirt.

Let’s take a quirky approach to designing our OWN gallery exhibition wall!
We will explore the permanent collection exhibition through an interactive scavenger hunt game and then use those inspirations to create mixed media artworks in the studio.

The Region of Durham will observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at a Remembering the Children Memorial on September 24 at 11:30 a.m.
A commemorative orange crosswalk—designed by visual artist, Jon Colwell, a proud member of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation—and an accompanying plaque will be unveiled at the memorial. The crosswalk has been planned with the advice and guidance of Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, Indigenous community members and organizations.
When: Saturday, September 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Where: Durham Regional Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby. Please access the grounds from the north entrance on Rossland Road. Follow the directional arrows to the south parking lot. The memorial will take place at the Garden Street entrance.
Who: The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division of The Regional Municipality of Durham is hosting the memorial.
Why: Committing to reconciliation involves learning about Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing; creating genuine and meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities. It is only when we take these steps and embrace reconciliation in our hearts, minds and actions that we can truly create spaces for healing and understanding.
