There's nothing better than spending a fall day in nature, connecting with loved ones! Nestled into the countryside, this historic working farm offers lots of fun for the whole family. Yound and old alike delight in the offering of fall activities, which include thousands of pumpkins and fall decor, wagon rides, farm animals, kids' activities, along with local seasonal treats like farm fresh kettle corn and pumpkin curry. Come and join us for some time together, daily from 10 to 5 until October 31.

The Clarington Board of Trade, Invest Clarington and Durham College Community Employment Services have partnered again for the Clarington Community Career Fair. After the success of the Career Fair in March that saw over 25 employers and over 500 jobseekers connect, we have decided to host the event twice per year.

Join us on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex in Bowmanville. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required. Please contact derek.boucher@durhamcollege.ca if you have any questions.

On October 10 at 6:30 p.m. residents are invited to a Budget Town Hall to learn more about the Region’s 2025 Business Plans and Budgets, share input on key priority areas, and gain an increased understanding of the Region’s programs and services.
