PineRidge Arts Council presents it Juried Art Show in the Atrium of the McLean CC from October 17, 2023 to November 19. You are invited to enjoy this display of original artwork by Durham artists.

There will be an opportunity to meet the artists at the awards presentation on October 26 at 7 pm.

Join fellow rural business leaders at Trail Hub in the Township of Uxbridge for the return of the North Durham Building Business Forum. This high-energy event aims to inspire new ideas, share knowledge and best practices applicable to a wide range of businesses, help business leaders make strategic connections, and share information about business supports available throughout Durham Region.

During this session, Bereskin & Parr LLP will discuss the current state of data privacy in Canada and provide a high-level overview of the regulatory environment and the potential upcoming changes, so that companies can take the proper steps to be compliant and navigate the regulations.

The Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee (DECAC) and the Durham Climate Roundtable are hosting the first annual Durham Environment and Climate Forum - an evening to take stock of progress on climate action, and celebrate the achievements of environment and climate change leaders in Durham Region.

The evening will highlight environmental and climate achievement and appreciation through the Durham Environmental Achievement Awards Ceremony, a presentation of the first annual Climate Roundtable Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Climate Action report and the launch of the Durham Climate Dashboard. 

This hybrid event will take place in person and will be livestreamed for virtual attendees. Please indicate your attendance option when registering for the event.
