A Gift of Art is please to announce the Snowcastles of Newcastle contest! Taking place on Saturday March 4th at the Clarington Public Library (Newcastle branch) individuals and teams will create an original snowcastle sculpture in a designated space. Sculptures will be judged on design, process, structural soundness, and overall creativity. Fantastic prizes to be won! So gather your team, shovels and snow gear for this cool competition! Whether you are a professional snowcastle artist, or a family looking for a fun filled day, we would love to see your creations! No snow? No problem! In the event Mother Nature does not decide to join us, we will create castles out of mixed recyclables!
Warming Centres will be provided both in the Library and A Gift of Art.
