Author Karin Wells (CBC Radio documentary maker, lawyer, three-time recipient of the Canadian Association of Journalists’ documentary award) shares from her latest book, More Than a Footnote: Canadian Women You Should Know. Her debut book, The Abortion Caravan: When Women Shut Downn Government in the Battle for the Right to Choose, won the 2021 Alison Prentice Award for Women's History and was a 2021 finalist for the Shaughnessy Cohen Prize for Political Writing.
