Maud’s Birthday Party, November 30th 2024 Join us for Maud’s Birthday Party on November 30th, where we’re hosting our biggest celebration yet! In the afternoon at the Uxbridge Arena, people can enjoy cupcakes, a free skate from 4-7 PM, experience Maud’s Mini Market,enjoy the displays and hear the winners of the children’s birthday letters to Maud read their entries. It’s a wonderful way to kick off the festivities! But don’t miss the highlight of the day—the Kitchen Party for Maud in the evening, 7:30pm, at the Historic Leaskdale Church! This lively event will feature talented fiddlers,step dancers, and a cake reception. There will be a special appearance by Megan Follows Remarks and selected readings from the Journals of L.M. Montgomery by award winning actor and director Megan Follows, star of the internationally acclaimed 1983 television mini series, Anne of Green Gables.. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate Montgomery’s legacy with friends and family. Tickets are just $30 for adults and $5 for children under 12. We can’t wait to see you there for an unforgettable night of fun and festivity!
