The 67th Annual Meeting (AM) of the Oshawa Historical Society (OHS) will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 6 PM. The Annual Meeting will take place at the McLaughlin Branch of the Oshawa Public Libraries, 65 Debwewin Miikan (formerly Bagot Street), Oshawa, in the lower level auditorium. The AM will be for OHS members in good standing; members of the public are welcome to attend.
Following the AM will be the Local History Speaker Series, where Melissa Cole, Curator, Oshawa Museum will give a talk on Milk Stories: Dairies of Oshawa
Do you recall the days of the horse and buggy milk delivery, when the milkman would deliver milk and dairy products while one was sleeping right to your doorstep? There were several dairies operating in Oshawa in the early 20th century, and curator Melissa Cole will showcase their stories in this month’s Local History Speaker Series.
May’s Local History Speaker Series is taking place Tuesday, May 20 at 6 PM, immediately following the Oshawa Historical Society Annual Meeting. The Speaker Series will be held at the McLaughlin Branch of the Oshawa Public Libraries, in the lower level auditorium, located at 65 Debwewin Miikan (formerly Bagot Street), Oshawa.
The Local History Speaker Series is an event presented in partnership between the Oshawa Historical Society and the Oshawa Public Libraries.
